East View Patriots (Georgetown, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX), 13-3 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 8-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bastrop for a 5A Region III District 23 challenge on Monday, March 11. East View will face a Bears squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX). The Bears record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Cedar Creek falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX) to face the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 23 challenge on Monday, March 11. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 7-14. Pflugerville Connally lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Elgin (Elgin, TX)
