East View Patriots (Georgetown, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 13-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bastrop for a 5A Region III District 23 challenge on Friday, April 5. East View will face a Bears squad coming off a 7-3 league win over Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX). The Bears record now stands at 11-10.

With the loss, Cedar Creek falls to 9-17 on the campaign. The Eagles host Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX) to face the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 23 challenge on Friday, April 5. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 7-21. Pflugerville Connally lost 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Elgin (Elgin, TX)
