The Lions now sport a 18-5 record. They play next when they travel to Brenham for a 5A Region III District 21 match on Tuesday, March 12. Lake Creek will meet a Cubs squad coming off a 9-5 league win over Rudder (Bryan, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, Magnolia West moves to 14-10 on the season. The Mustangs host Montgomery (Montgomery, TX) to meet the Bears in a 5A Region III District 21 match on Tuesday, March 12. The Bears go into the match with a record of 2-6. Montgomery lost 17-0 in their recent league match against College Station (College Station, TX)
