The South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) baseball trounced the host Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), 14-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Raiders now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Central Cabarrus for a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Tuesday, March 11. South Rowan will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 12-8 non-league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Concord drops to 1-5 on the year. The Spiders travel to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. West Rowan won 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
