Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA), 16-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Orcas Island upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Vikings host Shorewood (Shoreline, WA) to play the Stormrays in a non-league game on Saturday, March 8. The Stormrays enter the game with a record of 0-0.
The Turks now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Meridian for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 12.
