Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) and the visiting Albertville Aggies (Albertville, AL), witnessed Sparkman's softball squad tip Albertville by a count of 7-3.

The Senators now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to James Clemens for a non-league match on Thursday, March 10. Sparkman will face a Jets squad coming off a 13-0 league loss to Bob Jones (Madison, AL). The Jets record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Albertville moves to 3-8 on the season. The Aggies host Appalachian (Oneonta, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, March 10. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 2-2. Appalachian lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Douglas (Douglas, AL)
