Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Albertville Aggies (Albertville, AL), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Senators now own a 28-11 record. They take the field next when they host Huntsville for a 7A Area 7 challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Sparkman will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Grissom (Huntsville, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 13-12.

With the loss, Albertville falls to 8-20 on the campaign. The Aggies travel to Grissom (Huntsville, AL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 7-17. Grissom lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Plainview (Rainsville, AL)
