The Grimsley Whirlies baseball team (Greensboro, NC), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC)
The Falcons now hold a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Guilford for a Metro 4A outing on Tuesday, March 14. Southeast Guilford will confront a Nighthawks team coming off a 9-2 league loss to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 1-2.
Next, the Whirlies confront the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A outing, on Tuesday, March 14. Grimsley will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Westchester Country Day (High Point, NC).
