The Irvington Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Washington Huskies to 2 in the Vikings league victory on Thursday.

The Vikings now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moreau Catholic for a Mission Valley game on Tuesday, March 14. Irvington will meet a Mariners team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Campolindo (Moraga, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 8-4.

The Huskies (6-3) will now prepare for their game against American (Fremont, CA). The Eagles enter the Mission Valley game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, American held off St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
