Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Hornets now sport a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lawrence County for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 13. Hatton will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Curry (Jasper, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Lexington falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Golden bears host Loretto (Loretto, TN) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 16. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
