Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 14-15 record. They take the field next when they host Sheffield for a 2A Area 16 challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Hatton will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Cherokee (Cherokee, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Lexington falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Golden bears travel to Scotts Hill (Reagan, TN) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 8-3. Scotts Hill won 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Bolivar Central (Bolivar, TN)
