Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), 19-0 in a league challenge.
The Cowboys now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northern Guilford for a Metro 4A challenge on Thursday, March 16.
With the loss, Western Guilford falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to battle the Whirlies in a Metro 4A challenge on Tuesday, March 14. The Whirlies enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Grimsley lost 19-0 in their recent league challenge against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
