The Bishop McGuinness Villains smashed the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals soccer squad by a margin of 8-0 in Friday's league match.

The Villains now sport a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bethany for a Northwest Piedmont 1A match on Tuesday, April 5. Bishop McGuinness will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Cornerstone Charter drops to 8-2 on the season. The Cardinals host Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC) to encounter the Falcons in a Northwest Piedmont 1A match on Tuesday, April 5. The Falcons come into the match with a record of 5-2. Leadership Academy won 6-0 in their recent league match against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC)
