The Alamogordo Tigers (Alamogordo, NM) softball routed the visiting Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM), 14-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Tigers (11-5) will now prepare for their bout against Deming (Deming, NM). The Wildcats go into the 5A District 3 bout with a 10-3 record. In their last bout, Deming toppled Gadsden (Anthony, NM), 6-4, in a league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Alamogordo for a 5A District 3 bout on Friday, April 1. Deming will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 10-6 league win over Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 9-5.
