The Deming Wildcats softball team (Deming, NM), was routed 14-1 in Saturday's league test with the visiting Alamogordo Tigers (Alamogordo, NM)
Coming up next, the Tigers encounter the Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 test, on Tuesday, April 5. Alamogordo will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Knights enter the test with a 10-4 record after their 22-0 league win over Gadsden (Anthony, NM).
The Wildcats (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Hawks enter the 5A District 3 test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Centennial prevailed over Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM), 11-7, in a league test.
