Spectators at Friday's league match between the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) and the host Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), witnessed East Rowan's softball squad prevail over Concord by a count of 13-0.

The Mustangs now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest Cabarrus for a South Piedmont 3A match on Tuesday, April 5. East Rowan will face a Trojans squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Concord moves to 2-6 on the season. The Spiders travel to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to face the Vikings in a South Piedmont 3A match on Tuesday, April 5. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 9-2. Central Cabarrus won 15-0 in their recent league match against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC)
