The East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) softball routed the visiting Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), 15-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Mustangs (13-7) will now prepare for their bout against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Trojans go into the South Piedmont 3A bout with a 3-10 record. In their last bout, Northwest Cabarrus was routed by South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 16-8, in a league bout.

The Spiders now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Central Cabarrus for a South Piedmont 3A bout on Friday, April 29. Concord will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 15-4.
