The The Colony Cougars softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Lovejoy Leopards to 1 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, The Colony moves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Cougars host Rock Hill (Frisco, TX) to clash with the Blue Hawks in a 5A Region II District 10 game on Wednesday, April 6. The Blue Hawks come into the game with a record of 19-7. Rock Hill won 11-0 in their recent league game against Sherman (Sherman, TX)

In their next game, the Leopards clash with the Wylie East Raiders (Wylie, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 game, on Tuesday, April 5. Lovejoy will attempt to move on its 10-11 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 13-11 record after their 4-0 league win over Denison (Denison, TX).
