In Monday's league outing, the host Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks softball team scored a nice 10-2 win over the Izard County Cougars.

Coming up next, the Warhawks encounter the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR) in a 2A Region 2 outing, on Tuesday, April 2. Mt. Vernon-Enola will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Greyhounds enter the outing with a 2-15 record after their 9-6 league loss to Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR).
