The East Davidson Golden Eagles baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Salisbury Hornets to 2 in the Golden Eagles league win on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles now hold a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Salisbury for a Central Carolina 1A/2A test on Friday, April 4. East Davidson will play a Hornets team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 3-11.
With the defeat, Salisbury drops to 2-11 on the year. The Hornets host North Rowan (Spencer, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 2. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 3-7. North Rowan lost 10-0 in their recent league test against East Davidson (Thomasville, NC)
