North Carolina High School Baseball - Lumberton loses to Jack Britt

Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC), 8-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, Jack Britt advances its record to 8-5 on the season. The Buccaneers host Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC) to confront the Rams in a United Eight 3A/4A contest on Friday, April 4. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 7-8. Purnell Swett won 21-0 in their recent league contest against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC)

The Pirates now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoke County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 2. Lumberton will confront a Bucks squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Bucks record now stands at 2-12.
