In Tuesday's league bout, the Newberry Bulldogs (Newberry, SC) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Keenan Raiders (Columbia, SC), by a tally of 24-0.
Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 2. Newberry will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 10-4 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to River Bluff (Lexington, SC).
The Raiders (2-7) will now prepare for their bout against Newberry (Newberry, SC). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Region 5 bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Newberry overcame Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
