The Newberry Bulldogs baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Keenan Raiders to 1 in the Bulldogs league win on Monday.
The Bulldogs now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they host Swansea for a 3A Region 5 test on Tuesday, April 29. Newberry will play a Tigers team coming off a 13-6 league loss to Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 16-4.
With the defeat, Keenan drops to 3-13 on the year. The Raiders host Eau Claire (Columbia, SC) to play the Shamrocks in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. The Shamrocks go into the test with a record of 3-6. Eau Claire lost 13-4 in their recent league test against Chester (Chester, SC)
