In Tuesday's league game, the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the Screven County Gamecocks.
The Buccaneers (6-13) will now prepare for their game against Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 19-2 record. In their last game, Charlton County nudged Atkinson County (Pearson, GA), 11-1, in a league game.
Next, the Gamecocks play the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 game, on Thursday, April 3. Screven County will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Buccaneers go into the game with a 6-13 record after their 4-1 league win over Screven County (Sylvania, GA).
