The Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA) baseball trounced the host McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), 11-3 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Gamecocks now own a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bryan County for a A D2 Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 8.

With the defeat, McIntosh County Academy drops to 6-15 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Jenkins County (Millen, GA) to clash with the War Eagles in a A D2 Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The War Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Jenkins County won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Portal (Portal, GA)
