The Mesa Vista Trojans baseball squad (Ojo Caliente, NM), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM)
With the triumph, Penasco moves its record to 2-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to McCurdy (Espanola, NM) to confront the Bobcats in a 2A District 5 contest on Tuesday, April 8. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 2-4. McCurdy lost 13-8 in their recent non-league contest against Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM)
The Trojans now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Questa for a 2A District 5 contest on Monday, April 7. Mesa Vista will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 21-1 non-league win over Centennial (San Luis, CO). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.
