The South Brunswick Cougars the host West Brunswick Trojans baseball squad by a score of 4-1 in Tuesday's league outing.
Next up, the Cougars encounter the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A outing, on Friday, April 4. South Brunswick will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Vikings enter the outing with a 5-9 record after their 1-0 league loss to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).
The Trojans (4-9) will now prepare for their outing against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers enter the Mideastern 3A/4A outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, Laney edged Green Hope (Cary, NC), 6-3, in a non-league outing.
