In Tuesday's non-league test, the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) softball squad overwhelmed the host A.C. Flora Falcons (Columbia, SC), by a tally of 9-4.
Next, the War Eagles meet the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 test, on Thursday, April 3. Gray Collegiate Academy will attempt to advance on its 16-1 season record. The Bearcats go into the test with a 1-9 record after their 12-7 league loss to South Aiken (Aiken, SC).
The Falcons (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The War Eagles go into the non-league test with a 17-1 record. In their last test, Gray Collegiate Academy held off Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC), 14-0, in a league test.
