In Tuesday's league match, the host James F. Byrnes Rebels softball team scored a tight 7-0 win over the Boiling Springs Bulldogs.
The Rebels (11-2) will now prepare for their match against Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC). The Generals come into the AAAAA Region 2 match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Wade Hampton nipped Mauldin (Mauldin, SC), 9-6, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Gaffney Indians (Gaffney, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 match, on Friday, April 4. Boiling Springs will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 10-6 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Chapman (Inman, SC).
