Texas High School Softball - Gilmer sneaks past Spring Hill

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Gilmer Buckeyes softball team scored a tight 11-10 win over the Spring Hill Panthers.

The Buckeyes (17-3) will now prepare for their match against Mineola (Mineola, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league match with a 12-8 record. In their last match, Mineola nipped Quitman (Quitman, TX), 17-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Carthage Bulldogs (Carthage, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 match, on Friday, April 4. Spring Hill will attempt to better on its 14-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 17-4 record after their 31-1 league win over Kilgore (Kilgore, TX).
