North Carolina High School Softball - Seventy-First topped by Gray's Creek

Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC), 15-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Gray's Creek improves its record to 12-1 on the year. The Bears host Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Falcons in a United Eight 3A/4A game on Tuesday, April 1. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 2-7. Seventy-First lost 20-0 in their recent league game against South View (Hope Mills, NC)

The Falcons now hold a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Gray's Creek for a United Eight 3A/4A game on Tuesday, April 1. Seventy-First will play a Bears squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Bears record now stands at 11-1.
