Ohio High School Softball - Unioto bounces Piketon

April 10, 2023: Chillicothe, OH 45601

Spectators at Monday's league match between the Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH) and the visiting Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH), witnessed Unioto's softball squad tip Piketon by a count of 9-2.

The Shermans now sport a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Southeastern for a Scioto Valley match on Wednesday, April 12. Unioto will face a Panthers squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Peebles (Peebles, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Piketon moves to 2-2 on the season. The Redstreaks host Westfall (Williamsport, OH) to face the Mustangs in a Scioto Valley match on Wednesday, April 12. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 2-2. Westfall won 12-0 in their recent league match against Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH)
