Ohio High School Softball - Unioto bounces Piketon

April 26, 2023: Piketon, OH 45661

Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH), 6-0 in a league challenge.

The Shermans now sport a 18-1 record. They take the field next when they host Southeastern for a Scioto Valley challenge on Friday, April 28. Unioto will face a Panthers squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Piketon falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Redstreaks host West Union (West Union, OH) to face the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 29. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 2-10.
