North Carolina High School Softball - Concord knocked off by Salisbury

April 10, 2024: Salisbury, NC 28144

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), by a margin of 16-6.

With the triumph, Salisbury moves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Hornets host East Davidson (Thomasville, NC) to play the Golden Eagles in a Central Carolina 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, April 16. The Golden Eagles come into the contest with a record of 7-4.

In their next game, the Spiders play the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A contest, on Friday, April 12. Concord will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 10-6 record after their 5-4 league loss to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
