The Concord Spiders softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Salisbury Hornets to 5 in the Spiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Concord improves its record to 4-7 on the year. The Spiders travel to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a South Piedmont 3A game on Friday, April 5. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 4-5. Northwest Cabarrus lost 12-1 in their recent league game against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A game, on Wednesday, April 3. Salisbury will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Cavaliers come into the game with a 0-4 record after their 16-0 league loss to West Davidson (Lexington, NC).
