North Carolina High School Baseball - South Mecklenburg edges Ballantyne Ridge

April 10, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28277

In Thursday's league game, the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres baseball team scored a close 5-2 win over the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves.

The Sabres (13-7) will now prepare for their game against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Titans go into the non-league game with a 14-3 record. In their last game, Hopewell nudged West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 5-1, in a league game.

Next, the Wolves play the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 12. Ballantyne Ridge will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 6-12 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Palisades (Charlotte, NC).
