Colorado High School Lacrosse - Aspen overwhelms Grand Junction

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Aspen Skiers lacrosse squad scored a tight 16-9 win over the Grand Junction Tigers.

The Skiers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO). The Sailors enter the 4A Mountain East contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Steamboat Springs was overwhelmed by Evergreen (Evergreen, CO), 17-9, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers meet the Steamboat Springs Sailors (Steamboat Springs, CO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 15. Grand Junction will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Sailors enter the contest with a 7-3 record after their 20-16 league win over Aspen (Aspen, CO).
