Aspen Skiers (Aspen, CO) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Grand Junction Tigers (Grand Junction, CO), 20-8 in a non-league battle.

With the victory, Aspen advances its record to 9-4 on the season. The Skiers travel to Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO) to encounter the Huskies in a 4A Mountain East battle on Thursday, May 1. The Huskies come into the battle with a record of 10-4. Battle Mountain lost 18-8 in their recent non-league battle against Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO)

The Tigers now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fruita Monument for a 4A Mountain West battle on Friday, May 2. Grand Junction will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-7.
