In Thursday's league test, the Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ) softball squad the visiting DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ), by a count of 5-1.

Next, the Paladins meet the Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 11. Paramus Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 9-5 league loss to Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ).

The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ). The Big Blue enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, The Pingry School edged Bernards (Bernardsville, NJ), 15-3, in a non-league challenge.
