The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC) and the host Irmo Yellow Jackets (Columbia, SC), observed River Bluff's softball team notch a victory over Irmo by a final score of 16-1.

The Gators (6-9) will now prepare for their bout against Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC). The Silver Foxes go into the AAAAA Region 4 bout with a 6-10 record. In their last bout, Dutch Fork was routed by Lexington (Lexington, SC), 17-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets battle the Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) in a AAAAA Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, April 22. Irmo will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC).
