The Winnsboro Raiders softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Quitman Bulldogs to 1 in the Raiders league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Winnsboro moves its record to 12-4 on the year. The Raiders travel to Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX) to clash with the Red Devils in a 3A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, April 19. The Red Devils come into the game with a record of 14-8. Chapel Hill lost 10-6 in their recent league game against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX) in a 3A Region II District 13 game, on Friday, April 15. Quitman will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a 3-15 record after their 16-6 league loss to Harmony (Big Sandy, TX).
