The Mt. Hope Huskies baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Central Knights to 0 in the Huskies league victory on Tuesday.
The Huskies (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI). The Hawks go into the Division 1 (State) match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Bishop Hendricken gained a win over Lincoln (Lincoln, RI), 8-0, in a league match.
The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Barrington was overwhelmed by St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI), 12-4, in a league match.
