Texas High School Baseball - Jones loses to Sinton

The Jones Trojans baseball team (Beeville, TX), was overwhelmed 12-1 in Tuesday's league outing with the visiting Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX)

The Pirates now hold a 23-1 record. They take the field next when they host Calhoun for a 4A Region IV District 30 outing on Friday, April 14. Sinton will face a Sandcrabs team coming off a 19-4 league win over Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX). The Sandcrabs record now stands at 15-8.

Next, the Trojans face the Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 30 outing, on Friday, April 14. Jones will attempt to advance on its 8-16 season record. The Pirates enter the outing with a 10-11 record after their 14-6 league win over West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX).
