Florida High School Softball - Charlotte nudges Venice

April 11, 2023: Punta Gorda, FL 33950

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons (Punta Gorda, FL) and the visiting Venice Indians (Venice, FL), saw Charlotte's softball squad nip Venice by a count of 4-3.

The Fightin' Tarpons now sport a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lakewood Ranch for a non-league match on Thursday, April 13. Charlotte will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Calvary Christian (Clearwater, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Venice falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Indians host Braden River (Bradenton, FL) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Thursday, April 13. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 4-8.
