The crowd at Thursday's league game between the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) and the host North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), saw West Brunswick's lacrosse team top North Brunswick by a final score of 13-3.
The Trojans (4-8) will now prepare for their game against South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Cougars enter the Mideastern game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, South Brunswick was overwhelmed by Swansboro (Swansboro, NC), 13-3, in a non-league game.
The Scorpions (1-12) will now prepare for their game against Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Screaming Eagle enter the Mideastern game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Ashley was overwhelmed by Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 15-2, in a league game.
