North Carolina High School Softball - River Mill gets by Ascend Leadership

The River Mill Jaguars got by the visiting Ascend Leadership Aviators softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Thursday's league battle.
The Jaguars (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC). The Grizzlies go into the Central Tar Heel 1A battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Clover Garden School nudged Graham (Graham, NC), 15-0, in a non-league battle.
The Aviators now sport a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Chatham Charter for a Central Tar Heel 1A battle on Monday, April 15. Ascend Leadership will meet a Knights squad coming off a 9-2 league win over River Mill (Graham, NC). The Knights record now stands at 8-1.
