River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC), 7-0 in a league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clover Garden School for a Central Tar Heel 1A challenge on Tuesday, April 23.

With the loss, Ascend Leadership falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Aviators host Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC) to battle the Lions in a Central Tar Heel 1A challenge on Thursday, April 25. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
