Gardendale Rockets (Gardendale, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Huffman Vikings (Birmingham, AL), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Rockets now own a 19-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prattville for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12. Gardendale will battle a Lions squad coming off a 20-6 league win over Percy Julian (Montgomery, AL). The Lions record now stands at 11-13.

With the loss, Huffman falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Jackson-Olin (Birmingham, AL) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 0-13.
