Alabama High School Softball - Gardendale bounces Huffman

The Gardendale Rockets (Gardendale, AL) softball routed the host Huffman Vikings (Birmingham, AL), 15-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Rockets (24-9) will now prepare for their bout against St. Clair County (Odenville, AL). The Fighting Saints go into the non-league bout with a 8-14 record. In their last bout, St. Clair County toppled Leeds (Leeds, AL), 7-6, in a league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Clay-Chalkville for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 18. Huffman will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL). The Cougars record now stands at 10-13.
