University Titans (Spokane, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mt. Spokane Wildcats (Mead, WA), 5-4 in a league challenge.

The Titans now own a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ferris for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Friday, April 12. University will battle a Saxons squad coming off a 15-6 league loss to Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA). The Saxons record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Mt. Spokane falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Mead (Spokane, WA) to battle the Panthers in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Friday, April 12. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 8-2. Mead won 42-0 in their recent league challenge against North Central (Spokane, WA)
